Earlier this month the first LA Comic con since Stan Lee's passing took place at the LA Convention Center.
At the front of the exhibit hall they had an opportunity to write a message in honor of him.
We were not able to attend on the first two days of the convention, but many attendees had taken to social media to express their displeasure with the extended period of time they had to wait in order to get into the convention center.
LA Comic Con did address this on their Twitter page, but attendees say they understated the situation, claiming the lines were a much longer wait than just 40 minutes.
According to LA Comic Con, this problem was caused by the new procedure of metal scanners, added for the safety of all attendees.
LA Comic Con's exhibit hall had many booths to explore. The popular web-comic app 'WEBTOON' had a booth where attendees could buy merch from their favorite comics and get signatures from their favorite creators. A large portion of the exhibit hall had the artist alley, where artists had booths up and sold their art/merch pieces.
This year the Main Stage held many popular panels, such as a reunion of actors from "The Office", and a panel featuring the voice actors of the popular cartoon "Steven Universe."
LA Comic Con also had the wonderful opportunity to meet some of the guests thru autograph signings and photo opportunities.
Another large part of the exhibit hall had other non-artist brands selling their products.
Next year's LA Comic Con will take place September 25-27, a bit further from Halloween than this years.
