This week's Sunday Scoop we have a bunch of Anime Expo news!

Badges have started arriving in the mail! Be on the look out for yours! The last day to get a pass that will ship to you is June 11.

Anime Expo has announced an Art Show! It will feature works from the attendee community and showcases traditional art, sculpture, and models! There is no charge for attendees to display their work in the Art Show; space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can find more information about the Art Show on their website.

Anime Expo welcomes Bisco Hatori as a Guest of Honor at Anime Expo 2019 for her first-ever overseas appearance!

"Bisco Hatori made her manga debut with Isshun kan no Romance (A Moment of Romance) in LaLa DX magazine. Her breakout hit OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB became an international bestseller and was adapted into a popular anime series. Hatori’s other works include the paranormal romance MILLENNIUM SNOW as well as her latest series, the comedic BEHIND THE SCENES!!, which are available in English from VIZ Media."

Anime Expo welcomes the 2019 Digital Influencers: Mother’s Basement, Super Eyepatch Wolf, and Sachie. They will all be participating in panels and autograph sessions.

Anime Expo has made TWO concert announcements this week!

The popular idol group "Aqours" from LOVE LIVE! SUNSHINE!! will take over The Novo in downtown Los Angeles for two performances on July 5th and 6th!

This announcement has made many attendees very happy, but grabbing tickets for this event will be difficult. Premier fans will be able to purchased tickets May 28, and general will be able to get theirs two days later, May 30th.

Anime Expo welcomes renowned musician and composer Yoshihiro Ike as a Guest of Honor at Anime Expo 2019! He will be holding an orchestral concert as well as participating in a panel on Saturday, July 6th, at 4:30 pm in Workshop 1.

Yoshihiro Ike is one of the most recognized music composers in Japan, having worked on more than 100 titles in the last 20 years,

He has also composed the soundtrack for a number of television dramas including Aibou, an award-winning, long-running television series that began broadcast in 2002 and is still being produced.

Tickets for the orchestral concert go on sale May 23rd.

General tickets will be $20, premium tickets will be $30, and VIP tickets with an Exclusive T- Shirt will cost $45.

VIDCON

VidCon has announced David Dobrick and JackSepticEye will both be Featured Creators at this year's event!

The agenda has been released, so you can start planning out your panels! I suggest using Google Sheets to organize a schedule, or you can wait for the schedule to be released on the app and plan it on there.

They have also announced that the Meet and Greet lottery will open on May 23!
